Text on the meme
How long into dating until you met your partners family? I met her dad before I met her lol. He's my pastor and one of my mentors and when I started going to his church he introduced me to his daughter. We started hanging out and apparently she told her Dad she liked me, because he pulled me aside after the sermon one day and said “The other day she told me that she likes you. I know you like her too. I can tell. Just so you know, you have my blessing to begin a relationship with her. You’re a young man of God and I know you’d treat her right.” That next Friday I took her to get ice cream and I asked her out, and she said yes. Her father and I are still close to this day. He gives me man advice, biblical advice, and he even let me smoke my first cigar with him. Cool dude. Now I’m just waiting to get his blessing to marry her. I haven't gotten a boner thinking about women since the 9th grade. But as soon as I think about certain men, I'm rock solid. A part of me still would like to marry a woman and have kids and a family but I don't know if I'll ever be attracted to her. I've also never had a gf before but I've slept with 3 guys before so idk if I'm just gay or if I just need to sleep with a woman to see if I'm bi. Isn’t this you?
What it means

A Reddit screenshot shows a man describing how he met his girlfriend’s father before meeting her, because her father was his pastor and gave him permission to date her. The punchline is a reply showing an apparent confession of attraction to men, followed by “Isn’t this you?”, implying the wholesome story is actually about a closeted gay man. It is used as an ironic reaction to expose a hidden meaning or tease someone about their sexuality.
