What Is He Even Training For?
“What’s he even training for?!” “No practical use!” “He looks so stupid.”
A man in a home gym demonstrates increasingly pointless ways to use a barbell, weight plate, and bench while wearing a cap and glasses. After mocking the useless-looking workout, he dramatically closes the blinds and returns with intense improvised training as Poison the Well’s “Botchla” plays, turning the scene into an absurd metal workout montage. The joke is a reaction to people criticizing an unconventional hobby or exercise before revealing an exaggerated, chaotic commitment to it.
