Young Male Virginity on the Rise
Young male virginity on the rise Share of men under age 30 who report zero female sex partners since they turned 18. 27% 20 10 0 7% 8% Beginning of OSINT 1989 2008 2018 Source: General Social Survey
A line chart humorously shows the share of men under 30 reporting no female sex partners rising sharply after 2008, labeled as the beginning of OSINT. The joke implies that increased online sleuthing and internet use may be replacing real-life romantic interaction, turning a serious-looking statistic into an absurd causal explanation.
