Modern Software Licensing Ruins Campaigns
PSN is down so I played the MWII campaign since it's the only non online game I had installed and since it can't constantly verify the license through the internet connection it shuts down the whole game including the single player. I love modern software licensing!!! Suspending this game or app in 5 minutes because license can't be verified. Call of Duty®
A first-person shooter scene from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is overlaid with a notice that the game will be suspended because its license cannot be verified. The joke is that even the offline single-player campaign stops working when the internet or PSN is unavailable, mocking modern digital licensing and always-online requirements.
