cs career fair cancelled at community college because no companies reached out LOOK! - Important Notice to CCSF Computer Science Students - there will be no software engineering Employers at the 9/12/24 job fair, SO YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP IT. Nelson Hello CS Students, I am sorry to have to tell you this, but we were not able to get any employers to sign up for the job fair in the area of Software Engineering, except for an unpaid internship in web development with WordPress and React that use some Javascript. So, if you are a CS student, you might want to skip this job fair. The only other employers who signed up are Managed Service IT providers, mostly in the area of Helpdesk support. Hopefully, we will have better luck with Software Engineering roles in a couple of months when many of you will be applying for the government sponsored internships (like City and County of SF, SFO Airport, and the Department of Energy Community College Internships).
