The CS Major Stereotype
Why do people say “I can tell” when I tell them I’m a CS major? Others Whenever I meet someone new and I start talking to them, as soon as I say my major they immediately retort “I can tell” in a seemingly condescending tone. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there something stereotypical about cs majors? Not a shitpost. 1/2 the non-cs majors I meet say this. EDIT: I swear I smell fine.
