Shinji and Asuka Bottle Toss

Text on the meme

HIT 3!

What it means

Shinji and Asuka sit in a living room, repeatedly tossing green bottles toward each other like a game. After the third hit, the bottles shatter and briefly turn gray, creating an absurd reaction-video punchline. Yoko Takahashi’s dramatic “The Cruel Angel’s Thesis” from Neon Genesis Evangelion makes the silly bottle toss feel comically epic and intense.
