Valve Makes Hardware

Text on the meme

i guess we make Hardware VALVE PORTAL 2 HALF-LIFE 2 HALF-LIFE

What it means

A hand-drawn Valve mascot stands beside a sketch of a building, surrounded by Valve hardware products and game covers. The joke is that Valve became known primarily for making games and Steam, then abruptly “makes hardware” as well, referencing products such as the Steam Controller, SteamVR headset, Steam Link, and Steam Deck. It is used as an ironic reaction to Valve unexpectedly entering another hardware market.
