Never Use a Pioneer Mixer

old heads on facebook fired up about this When choosing a mixer for vinyl... Incorrect :- Correct :- Never use a Pioneer mixer. Pioneer mixers do not have true RIAA correction on the phono preamps resulting in a muddy sound from your vinyl and more prone to causing feedback due to a 70Hz widest boost and >12kHz rolloff. Did pioneer do this on purpose since the early 2000's to cause problems making people 'go digital' and take over the market with their CDJs? Most engineers would say yes, and can give no logical reason why Pioneer mixers don't have that sabotage of vinyl use. Stick with other brands, because if even the cheapest brands can get this right, then something is seriously wrong with Pioneer dj. Therefore when choosing a mixer, make sure you take advice from engineers, not influencers!

EN: The image compares incorrect and correct DJ setups for vinyl: both use Technics turntables, but the Pioneer mixer is crossed out in red while another mixer is marked with a green check. The text satirically claims that Pioneer mixers intentionally handle vinyl poorly and sabotage analog sound, advising people to listen to engineers rather than influencers. The meme is used as a sarcastic reaction to arguments about DJ equipment, vinyl, and brand superiority.
