PSU Upgrade No FPS Improvement

I upgraded my PSU from 600W to 1200W. Why am I not seeing any FPS improvement on Games? Hardware Hello guys I just wanted to ask why am I seeing no performance improvements on FPS since I switched my PSU. I had a 600W PSU but then I got a Cooler Master 1200W PSU which was 30% OFF, I know upgrading my GPU (I have an RTX 2070) would improve the performance, but isn't a bigger PSU going to give my current GPU more power therefore more FPS? Is my PSU defective
