Friends Will Never Believe Him
His friends are never gonna believe him
A black-and-white cat sits on a wooden floor beneath a table, slowly lifting its head and looking around with an increasingly serious, bewildered expression. The caption jokes that whatever unbelievable thing the cat is witnessing or claiming, its friends will never believe him; the melancholic psychedelic-rock track “Me and the Birds” by Duster makes the ordinary cat’s dramatic reaction feel absurdly profound and funny.
