Emoticons Make Everyone Laugh

Text on the meme

Emoticons! :) (-: ;-) :) :-)

What it means

A retro computer monitor displays changing text emoticons, which then transform into a smiling face before the clip cuts to a woman and a mustached man in a library-like TV studio laughing and reacting. The joke treats simple old-school emoticons as unexpectedly hilarious, making it a reaction video for when something is amusing or absurdly funny.
