More bootcamp fallout

More bootcamp fallout I'm a bootcamp dev. Everyone said after a few YOE the degree wouldn't matter. I'm slowly finding out that is not true. I submitted hundreds of apps in the last few months. The last 500, I submitted a bogus app with an identical resume but different name / CS degree from UC Irvine. The bogus app already received 6 responses and I'm still sitting at 0. Just feeling really frustrated and mislead.

A Reddit post describes a coding bootcamp graduate applying to hundreds of jobs. After submitting a fake application with the same résumé but a different name and a UC Irvine computer science degree, the fake application receives six responses while the real applicant receives none. The joke highlights frustration with degree and hiring bias. EN: A Reddit post describes a coding bootcamp graduate applying to hundreds of jobs.
