Celestial Bodies Programming Meme

class Celestial 'Celestial bodies' is-a USER (role abstract) (slot body-type SYMBOL) (slot name STRING) (slot diameter INTEGER (default 0)) (slot density (type INTEGER) (default 0)) (slot type INTEGER (default 0)) (defclass Planet (is-a Celestial) (role concrete) (pattern-match reactive) (slot has-atmosphere (type SYMBOL) (default FALSE)) (multislot moons (create-accessor read-write)) ) (defclass Star (is-a Celestial) (role concrete) (pattern-match reactive) (slot stellar-class (type STRING)) (slot temperature (type INTEGER) (default 0)) ) (defclass DwarfPlanet (is-a Celestial) (role concrete) (pattern-match reactive)

A programming editor shows a class hierarchy for celestial bodies while a video window displays a bizarre red-and-yellow object being pierced or decorated. The joke comes from treating planets, stars, and dwarf planets as software objects, contrasted with the absurd visual in the video; it works as a reaction to overcomplicated coding or surreal technical problems.
