Now we are at WinUI and it's even slower and less efficient than UWP. And now it seems like they can't even be bothered to develop native UI frameworks anymore. Just build everything in JS and CSS and then run it inside an embedded Chromium browser (WebView2 or Electron). At this rate, opening an empty .txt file in NotePad will consume 1GB of RAM by the year 2030.
