Paid OS Needs Ad Remover

Text on the meme

I can't believe a paid OS needs a tool like this. Here's a GUI tool called OFGB (Oh Frick Go Back) to remove all the ads in Windows 11. It's understandable if a free OS or app needs ad support, but this is just crazy. OFGB - Version 0.1 Disable File Explorer Ads Disable Lock Screen Tips And Ads Disable Settings Ads Disable General Tips And Ads Disable "Finish Setup" Ads Disable "Welcome Experience" Ads Disable Personalized Ads Disable "Tailored Experiences" Disable Start Menu Ads * You May Need To Restart For Changes To Apply

What it means

A screenshot shows a post about OFGB, a graphical tool for disabling the many advertisements and promotional tips built into Windows 11, alongside the tool’s checklist of ad categories. The joke is that a paid operating system has so many ads that users need a separate ad-removal utility, parodying the behavior of free, ad-supported software.
