Sacrifice Doesn't Pay
Sacrifice doesnt pay. Im perceived as a better worker now that I give 50 % compared to the time I gave 110%. I had 3 jobs in the last 10 years. At job 1 I gave it 100%. I was perceived as a bad and lazy employee and f--ed. At Job 2 I gave it 110%. I was perceived as a bad and lazy employee and f--ed. After I was f--ed for the second time, I just didnt care anymore. Now I give around 50%. Half the day I play online games, or chess online, or read or watch videos. All others around me nearly coll?se from work and Im just doing the bare minimum. It makes me feel embarrassed how few work I do. But guess what. Now I am perceived as a mediocre/decent employee. I have been doing this for the past 3 years.
A Pepe image is placed above a screenshot about an employee who worked extremely hard, received poor treatment, and was fired twice. After reducing their effort to the bare minimum, they are finally seen as a mediocre or decent employee, making the joke about how workplaces often reward low effort more than sacrifice.
