Before marriage After marriage

What it means

A split-panel anime illustration shows a red-haired woman in a bikini posing with a watermelon before marriage and smiling at the beach after marriage. The joke is the exaggerated change in her body, implying that marriage causes weight gain or pregnancy; it is used as a playful reaction to stereotypes about married life.
