I hate my Duolingo avatar

Text on the meme

Is there a way to delete your avatar? – I hate him General Discussion John

What it means

A Reddit post in the Duolingo community shows a cartoon avatar named John with oversized glasses against a pink background. The joke is that the user treats the cheerful language-learning avatar like an annoying person they dislike, asking how to delete him as a humorous reaction to Duolingo’s mascot and avatar design.
