Grey Wolf and Russian Rabbit

VOLK - GREY WOLF ZAYATS - RUSSIAN RABBIT OR ENEMIES? PAIN AND DESPAIR TRUE “NU POGODI”

A monochrome, atmospheric video introduces a wolf and a rabbit through surreal double-exposure silhouettes filled with cityscapes, forests, construction cranes, and distressed textures. The captions frame them as the grey wolf and Russian rabbit, asking whether they are enemies, before revealing the familiar Soviet cartoon pairing from “Nu, Pogodi!”. The dramatic imagery and The Handsome Family’s haunting country-gothic song “Far From Any Road” turn a playful cartoon rivalry into an epic, melancholic legend.
