Subway Cleaner Gets Overwhelmed

Manhattan & Canarsie LESS HISTORY YOUR

In a subway corridor, a cleaner in a reflective vest mops while a man sits on the yellow cleaning bucket and commuters stream around them. As the crowd grows, the cleaner becomes overwhelmed and puts his hands on his head while the seated man keeps riding the bucket. The joke is the absurd contrast between routine station work and total public chaos, making it useful as a reaction to being unable to control a situation.
