First Day at Work in Video Games

FIRST DAY AT WORK

A split-screen gaming montage shows Leon Kennedy in his R.P.D. uniform on the left and a headband-wearing stealth-action hero on the right, while their game environments rapidly change around them. The joke is that both characters are supposedly experiencing their first day at work, despite appearing completely serious and surrounded by dangerous, chaotic missions; it works as a reaction to starting a new job and immediately facing overwhelming problems. The energetic video-game-style music reinforces the escalating montage and turns the deadpan characters into a comedic contrast.
