Hobbits Are Actually CIA

Text on the meme

Some people say hobbits are like anarchists Now, here's the thing – until a handful of hobbits went through a hell of a lot to put one they trusted on the throne. They're not anarchists – they're the CIA.

What it means

The video begins with a cheerful animated hobbit relaxing in a flower-filled meadow, while captions argue that hobbits resemble anarchists. It then cuts through live-action fantasy hobbits and a battered fantasy character before revealing the hobbits as masked anarchists, only to transform them into suited CIA agents. The joke parodies political analysis of The Lord of the Rings by replacing the heroic quest with an absurd conspiracy explanation, accompanied by dramatic music that makes the escalating reveal feel mock-serious.
