A cropped Windows file-properties dialog shows a system file named “User Choice Protection Driver,” presented as an official Microsoft component. The joke is that Microsoft is visibly enforcing control over the user’s default-browser choice, making the operating system look suspiciously authoritarian. It is used as a reaction to Microsoft blocking third-party tools or overriding user preferences.
