Developer Tries to Install Neovim
FindItFaster Find it, but faster! Leveraging fzf and rg. Warning: neovim 0.9.5 is already installed and up-to-date. zsh: command not found: neovim
A developer’s screen recording rapidly jumps through Visual Studio Code, theme settings, an extension page, source code, and a terminal while a mustached man reacts in a picture-in-picture window. The punchline is that the terminal says Neovim is already installed, then immediately reports “command not found,” turning a routine setup into classic developer-tool frustration. Mechanical, energetic audio and the commentator’s reactions make the escalating troubleshooting feel absurd and comedic.
Start by downloading VS Code in Ciders so that you get the latest releases before everyone else and you get a nice green icon instead of a blue one. Immediately move the sidebar over to the right so that opening and closing the sidebar doesn't mess with the indentation of your code. Change the color theme to Night Owl, which is the greatest theme of all time. Then download find it faster from the extensions, which lets you search through all of your files using a fuzzy finder, which means that you can close this sidebar forever. And at this point, you're ready to delete VS code, install Neo Vim, realize that it's too difficult to even open up Neo Vim, remove Neo Vim, remove Neo Vim.
