Opera GX Uses 2.5GB RAM

Hi /g/ Is there any reason why Opera GX takes up over 2.5GB when Im running a youtube video? All those 25 tabs have been pinned so I can watch them later so they shouldn't be using much (if not any) ram.

A screenshot of a forum post shows Opera GX using over 2.5 GB of RAM while only a YouTube video is running. The joke is that the user admits to having 25 pinned tabs saved for later, so the browser's high memory usage is obviously caused by all those tabs. It is a relatable reaction to browser bloat and excessive tab hoarding.
