Coping Programmer Gatekeeping
sigh. dafuq you say to me i started on a commodore 64 in my mom's basement writing my own video games the entire neighborhood would line up to play. i was 6. created my own 3d raster engine while you were in diapers figuring out what your peepee was. once i got a 2400 baud modem it was over, i was hacking BBS and wardialing n00bz by the time you hit puberty i had infiltrated most government servers. all of this while learning every design pattern and algorithm you've ever heard of, never heard of and never will hear of because some are classified by NIST. now if you really think you know anything about this field try and beat pollard's rho like i did jotting the solution in your prison notebook while keeping one eye on a group of shady mexicans. definitely the reaction of someone who can’t code 😏
A dark-mode X/Twitter screenshot shows an exaggerated programmer ranting about starting on a Commodore 64, hacking BBS systems, infiltrating government servers, and mastering obscure algorithms. The reply sarcastically calls it the reaction of someone who cannot code, making the joke about insecure technical gatekeeping and overcompensating with absurd credentials. It is used as a reaction to boastful programmers or people coping after being challenged.
