The Mistake Was My Own
I notice that using this technique, it seems to download significantly larger number of bytes than the actual content of the files. Is there a good reason? For example, file with 1608104 bytes grows to 2228224 bytes, 11723388 bytes grows to 14548992 bytes, 26575331 bytes grows to 42598400 bytes, and 43896456 bytes grows to 73795336 bytes. I'm probably making a mistake, but have you seen anything like that before? [EDIT] Of course, it was my own mistake :/ What was the mistake? I'm afraid I don't remember, sorry.
A screenshot of an online discussion shows a user asking why a file-download technique produces much larger files, complete with byte-size examples. After someone asks what the mistake was, the original poster admits they do not remember, creating an ironic self-own. It is used as a reaction to forgetting the cause of one’s own technical problem.
