Senator Fighting Through Illness

Senator Gilbert Bouchet (LR) has died. He had been fighting against the disease for more than three years.

A photograph shows Senator Gilbert Bouchet sitting in a wheelchair in a parliamentary chamber while a microphone is held near him. The joke comes from the stark contrast between the caption about his death and the image, which depicts him visibly struggling with illness during a session.
