Rorschach Has Different Interpretations

>Character is named Rorschach >Creator is shocked when others have a different interpretation of him than he did

A black-and-white image of Rorschach from Watchmen standing in a trench coat, hat, gloves, and his signature shifting mask. The joke is that the character’s creator is surprised when viewers interpret Rorschach differently from the way he intended, echoing the ambiguity of a Rorschach inkblot test. It is used as a reaction to disagreements over the meaning or interpretation of someone’s work.
