Lying to My Cat for Years

I’ve been lying to my cat for years. Every time he meows I say “I know”. But I don’t know. I don’t have a fking clue

A gray cat lies on a couch while the overlaid caption admits that its owner has been pretending to understand every meow for years. The joke is that people often respond to pets as if their sounds have clear meaning, even when they have no idea what the animal wants. It is used as a relatable reaction to pretending to understand something.
