Hacking Is Just Asking for Passwords
When I was a kid I thought "hacking" was all about writing Matrix-like code, when in reality it's just sending boomers emails that say "give me your passwords" and they do.
A tweet jokes that childhood ideas of hacking involved writing Matrix-style code, while real-world hacking can be as simple as emailing older people and asking for their passwords. The punchline is the contrast between cinematic technical skill and surprisingly easy social engineering.
