What it means

A social media post compares two anime-style world-building visuals: one is a spectacular, densely detailed futuristic city glowing with fire, while the other is a dark, sparse landscape of indistinct gray structures. The joke praises Ufotable’s elaborate visual environments and mocks MAPPA’s comparatively plain-looking world-building, making it a reaction to debates about animation studios and production quality.
