Earth After Nintendo Patents Photosynthesis

The Earth in 2033, 7 years after Nintendo patented photosynthesis because plants are featured throughout the pokemon franchise

A bleak, orange wasteland is shown as a convoy of heavily modified vehicles drives through dust and smoke. The caption jokes that Nintendo patenting photosynthesis would make plants disappear from Earth because the Pokémon franchise uses them everywhere, turning a ridiculous legal premise into a Mad Max-style apocalypse. The dramatic music and roaring vehicles make the absurd prediction feel like an epic catastrophe.
