Tung Tung Finds His Soul

TUNG TUNG AND ALTHOUGH HE WAS BORN WITHOUT A SOUL, TUNG TUNG REDEFINED WHAT IT MEANT TO BE WHOLE.

A surreal animated montage follows the wooden Tung Tung figure as he burns, transforms, runs across a glowing wasteland, cries out “TUNG TUNG,” and becomes a radiant winged being before fading into a starry sky. The melodramatic narration turns the absurd character into an exaggerated redemption story: despite being born without a soul, Tung Tung supposedly discovers wholeness. The indie rock song “Jane!” by The Long Faces gives the ridiculous transformation an epic, emotional, almost spiritual mood, making the clip work as an ironic reaction to overdramatic character edits.
