Smooth Transitions Gone Wrong

this is called smooth transitions 🥲🌹🌹

A young couple sits in a car while the woman holds a tray of chocolate-covered treats and the man reaches for one to feed her. The clip abruptly transitions to a gloomy outdoor shot of a bird perched on a bare tree above a house, making the supposedly “smooth transitions” comically awkward and unexpectedly melancholic. Jaanvir Kaur’s “Bhooha,” with its emotive Punjabi pop/folk sound, heightens the dramatic contrast and makes the sudden cut feel even funnier as a reaction to an anticlimactic or emotionally jarring moment.
