Cuphead Ready for a Wallop

Ready? WALLOP!

A pixelated Cuphead-like character stands motionless in a black outfit, wearing a red-and-white straw, as the screen flashes from dark gray to white. After the “Ready?” setup and “WALLOP!” punchline, a huge bright cyan splash suddenly bursts across the character. Kristofer Maddigan’s upbeat big-band jazz track “Floral Fury” gives the escalation a dramatic, energetic boss-fight feel, making the sudden impact funnier as a reaction to something overwhelming.
