Anime RPGs versus Soulslikes

Honkai Impact 3rd science fiction action RPG with experimental character swapping roll slop (quickstep isn't different stuff) Bloodborne Genshin Impact fantasy character-swapping action RPG with rich storylines and amazing world design roll slop Dark Souls III Honkai: Star Rail story-driven science fiction turn based strategy rpg with complex systems L1 spam SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE Zenless Zone Zero futuristic post-apocalyptic dystopia hack and slash action RPG with combo-heavy combat and roguelite elements roll slop ELDEN RING

Soulslike. EN: The meme compares descriptions of popular anime RPGs with FromSoftware games: elaborate promotional descriptions on the left are contrasted with simplified gameplay descriptions on the right. The joke is that Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, and Elden Ring boil down to repeatedly rolling, while Sekiro boils down to spamming L1; it is used as a reaction to repetitive Soulslike combat mechanics.
