Rocks Move Slowly
The movement of rocks is less limited than humans. To us, they look like they're standing still because they operate on a timescale so different from ours. Rocks move on a scale of thousands and millions of years. That perspective is important to consider when collecting minerals.
A cartoon woman gestures toward a Pac-Man-like figure while explaining that rocks move on geological timescales of thousands or millions of years. The joke comes from treating rock movement as something perceptible and using an overly serious scientific explanation as a reaction to an absurd situation. It can be sent when someone is being extremely slow or when a mundane topic receives an unnecessarily profound explanation.
