No One Warned Me About Silksong

Text on the meme

No one told me there were gooners in silksong

What it means

A gameplay clip from Hollow Knight: Silksong shows Hornet navigating a dark cavern before the scene ends in apparent defeat and a menu transition. The caption jokes that the game contains “gooners,” using exaggerated surprise and the dramatic gameplay music to turn an ordinary death into a reaction about unexpectedly encountering horny or degenerate fans and content. It is sent as a humorous reaction to discovering something unhinged in a fandom or game.
