Elderly Woman Funds Stranded Astronaut
Elderly woman sent money to scammer posing as stranded astronaut - so he could ‘buy oxygen’
An astronaut stands on the Moon with Earth behind him, while a caption says an elderly woman sent money to a scammer pretending to be a stranded astronaut so he could “buy oxygen.” The joke refers to romance and emergency scams, where scammers invent an absurd crisis to persuade victims to send money.
