Switch Statements Changed Everything
Ok so everyone keeps telling me to use switch statements instead of "else if" I don't see the appeal but I changed all my if's to switch statements. Maybe people will stop telling me how to code now. /*if (Name.Equals("Gabe")) { GainAccess(2); }*/ switch (Name) { case "Gabe": GainAccess(2); break; }
A programmer posts that people kept telling them to replace "else if" statements with switch statements, so they converted their code. The joke is that they simply commented out the old code and wrote an equivalent switch case, humorously pretending to follow the advice while changing nothing meaningful. This meme is sent as a reaction to superficial technical changes, stubborn developers, or cheeky compliance with coding advice.
