Nuclear Arsenal on Floppy Disks

Text on the meme

Now it runs on a Python flask backend with a react dashboard for the president not enough people know that the US’ nuclear arsenal ran on floppy disks up until June 2019

What it means

A social media post jokes that the US nuclear arsenal was modernized with a Python Flask backend and a React dashboard, while the attached photo shows a military officer inserting a floppy disk into older-looking equipment. The punchline is the absurd contrast between powerful nuclear weapons and outdated software and storage technology, making it a reaction to discussions about legacy systems and surprising technical debt.
