AI Slop Social Consequences
Unironically, I think the only way to prevent a future where everything on the internet is AI generated slop, is to draw a hard line Do not associate with people that use AI. Do not be their friend. Do not love them There needs to be a social consequence to k!lling the internet StreamDiffusion can now generate images at almost 100fps on a local computer with a GPU. With sd-turbo, 512x512, batch size 1, txt2img, one image can be generated in 10ms!
A dark-mode social media post condemns people who use AI-generated content, calling for social consequences and refusing to associate with them. The post then quotes an announcement about StreamDiffusion generating images at nearly 100 frames per second, illustrated by a computer screen showing a fast image-generation process producing a cat in a hat. The joke is the exaggerated contradiction between the dramatic anti-AI rhetoric and the impressive example of AI image generation.
