Hyperloop Solved the Wrong Problems

anyone who carried any water for this sham should be ashamed, barred from public transit jobs, and never taken seriously again Lmk if you want someone to talk about it. It was a wild ride. We solved dozens of insane engineering problems but not quite the right ones.

A screenshot of a social media post criticizing the Hyperloop project, showing a Hyperloop One tube elevated above a barren desert landscape. The joke is that engineers solved many difficult technical problems, but failed to solve the fundamental problem of building a useful transportation system, making the project an absurd engineering misadventure.
