Sanctimonious Repair Rant
I don't care how old you are, or how fast you did it. If it went the other way, and it very well could have, you could be just as easily confirming I'm right instead of sitting there sanctimoniously gloating about something stupid you did and happened to get lucky about doing it. And just because you did get lucky and things happened to go your way, doesn't mean you still weren't taking a risk or acting stupidly for attempting to do it in the first place. Regardless, there are qualified people who actually earn a living doing this work, who also paid for professional training, and people like this guy who ignorantly post these videos for all to see and without forethought of that fact, and all just so he can play internet star and be Mr. Helpy Helperton, is in reality doing more harm than good by detrimentally affecting an entire industry. It's morons just like this guy here on YouTube who ruin the ability of others to earn a living, and frankly that just pisses me off.
A long angry comment is shown on a black social-media screenshot. The writer condemns people who demonstrate risky Apple repairs online, arguing that luck does not make unsafe work competent and that amateur repair videos harm trained professionals. It is used as a reaction to someone seething over DIY repair content and acting self-righteous. EN: A long angry comment is shown on a black social-media screenshot.
