Grandfather Fought for This

Nothing more depressing than realising your grandfather and his generation fought/died just for everything the “enemy” said would happen to come true

A young woman walks along a rural path while large text overlays the video. The joke is a bleak political reaction: her grandfather’s generation fought and died against an enemy, only for the enemy’s warnings about the future to come true. It is used when expressing disillusionment with the outcome of a historical or political struggle. EN: A young woman walks along a rural path while large text overlays the video.
