Western YouTubers Misunderstand Japanese Literature
western youtubers in japan talking about how people there dont goon but actually follow a 300 year old tradition called "stroking my shit" in which they read hypersexualized depictions of children in literature
The meme shows a muscular bald man gesturing beneath a long caption parodying Western YouTubers’ sensationalized claims about Japanese culture. The joke is the absurd fake tradition “stroking my shit,” which mocks sexualized interpretations of historical literature and online “gooning” discourse. It is used as an exaggerated reaction to cultural misunderstanding and pseudo-intellectual internet commentary.
