Shoes-Off House Surprise

Text on the meme

When you weren’t prepared for your girl’s family to have a “shoes off” house

What it means

A person wearing jeans tries to walk around in a home with one foot in a white slide sandal and the other in a black sock shaped like toes, while sneakers sit by the door. The joke is that they were unprepared for their girlfriend’s family to require shoes to be removed, leaving them awkwardly dressed in mismatched foot coverings. It is sent as a reaction to being caught unprepared by an unexpected household rule.
