War Haters Discover Cool Explosions

War haters when they find out war isn't death and destruction, but is actually cool guys with big guns, tanks, and explosions

The video shows Frank Reynolds moving toward the camera with an increasingly alarmed expression, composited over a devastated war zone filled with soldiers, tanks, smoke, fire, and aircraft. The caption jokingly claims that people who hate war might change their minds after discovering its spectacular action-movie imagery, while the increasingly intense close-up makes Frank’s horrified reaction absurd. The clip uses Moshe Santiago’s “The Shape of Goodbye,” a somber, melancholic song whose emotional contrast makes the violent spectacle and deadpan joke even funnier.
